Industrial Laser Safety Courses
  L-113 Principles of Lasers 1 Day  
  This one-day introductory course is designed for those responsible for operating and maintaining laser systems, providing a solid introduction to lasers. It also provides a knowledge base for those who plan to continue their professional development and will be attending the Laser Safety Officer (LSO) course. In addition, the course benefits those who have management responsibility for lasers and/or laser safety.

L-222 Laser Safety Officer 4 Days  
  This intermediate level course provides an in-depth, analytical review of the LSO duties and requirements of ANSI Z136.1, OSHA, FDA-CDRH and state laser standards. After a review of the biological basis, the student will complete an in-depth computation workshop that covers MPE, AEL, NHZ and OD factors.

L-210 Hands-On Laser Safety Officer Training 3.5 Days  
  This course provides in-depth, hands-on training for the Laser Safety Officer (LSO). At the conclusion of this course the attendee will be able to fulfill the duties of the LSO as specified by ANSI Z136.1-2007, American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers. This standard is recognized by OSHA as a minimum standard for laser safety.

Laser Safety Orientation Online Course

This introductory course covers laser safety requirements in the manufacturing environment. It is based on the ANSI Z-136.1(2007) Standard and Federal (CDRH & OSHA). The course is designed for those who operate, service and maintain laser systems.

The Laser Safety Orientation Course has been awarded 4 AAHP CE Credits, .34 ABIH CM points and .02 COC point.
