Patrick Cogan, Product Sales Manager
Pat has been a member of the Rockwell Laser Industries family since August of 2001. When working with Pat, one soon realizes that no question posed to him is ever irrelevant. He is the type of person who will stop what he is doing and make sure others are taken care of before proceeding with his own work. Looking out for the customer first and himself second is what makes Pat a great Product Sales Manager. In particular, Pat deals with barrier curtain and entryway control system sales. |

Leah Cridlin, Training Coordinator
Leah has been with RLI since April 2004. Her experience includes 11 years of train the trainer experience to include soft skilled topics such as group dynamics, team management, problem solving, presentation development, classroom management and seminar/workshop facilitation and design. Leah also has 2 years experience as a Training Coordinator in a plasma donation center where she gained experience with OSHA and FDA approved training programs and documentation.
Leah has also served as president in numerous volunteer organizations in the communities in which she has lived over the years as a military spouse of 20 years. Leah is a graduate of the University of Louisville where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Training and Development. |

William J. Ertle, CLSO, CMLSO, President
Mr. Ertle has been associated with Rockwell Laser Industries (RLI) since 1989 where he now holds the position of President. Bill has provided in-depth lectures and training presentations for numerous RLI Training Institute courses, industry conferences, as well as presentations for events at Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratories, The Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, IEEE/LEOS, OPTCON, ALAC, Bay Area Laser Safety Officers (BALSO) and the International Laser Safety Conference (ILSC). Bill has also authored and co-authored several laser safety articles.
In addition to his training-based activities, he routinely provides RLI clients with product specific technical information on laser safety eyewear, windows, barriers, interlocks and other related laser safety equipment.
Bill is the Chairman of the ANSI Z136 Technical Standards Committee on Control Measures and Training (TSC-4) and a voting member of the Accredited Standards Committee, the main Z136 committee. He is an active member of the Laser Institute of America (LIA) and a former member of their Board of Directors as well as a member of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). He is a member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Technical Committee on Laser Safety and is a Certified Laser Safety Officer by the Board of Laser Safety. Bill is a graduate of Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH. |

Linda Follette, Customer Service Representative
Serving the company for the past 16 years, Linda is a team player with a
contagious personality. Her overall product knowledge assists her in
meeting customers' needs in a concise manner. Linda specializes in Laser
Safety Eyewear, Warning Signs, Equipment Labels, Publications, Online /
CD-ROM Training, and Hazard Analysis Software. |

Carla Guinn, Administrative Assistant
Carla produces and assembles all company training and consulting materials.
She is a diligent worker who also assists with packing and shipping
necessary materials for courses and orders. Carla has been with the company
since July of 2005 |

Jennifer Kappler, Executive Assistant
Since July of 2005, Jennifer has served as assistant to the President. Her organizational abilities have helped open and develop lines of communication. In addition, she oversees daily office operational functions, manages special projects, and coordinates special corporate
functions. Jennifer is a graduate of Xavier University. |

Gary Renner, Marketing Coordinator
Gary serves as marketing coordinator and brand manager at RLI. Before joining the team he was the lead on a company rebranding campaign for a service company in downtown Cincinnati. Gary graduated from the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. While in school Gary owned and oprated a residential painting service business in the Cincinnati metro area. He will be returning to school in the fall of 2007 to earn his Masters in Marketing Science from the Carl H. Linder Graduate School of Business at the University of Cincinnati. |

James Gregory Rockwell, CEO and Chairman of the Board
Greg has been an active member of the RLI board of directors for over 10 years. He is a line pilot for United Airlines where he flies Boeing -767/757's predominately to South America & Europe. Greg actively participates on the faculty of the Safety of Lasers Outdoors (A-220) course. He serves on the Aerospace Behavioral Engineering Technology committee of the SAE G-10T (Laser Safety Hazards Subcommittee) and the The ANSI SSC-6 (ANSI Z136.6) committee. He is an honors graduate in Aeronautical Sciences from the Florida Institute of Technology. |

R. James Rockwell, Jr., 1937 - 2003
Founder of Rockwell Laser Industries, Jim Rockwell was active in various areas of laser R&D since 1963 including fourteen years as the Directing Physicist of the University of Cincinnati Medical Laser Laboratory. He served as Chairman of the ANSI Z-136 Control Measures Subcommittee since it's inception and on the laser safety committee of the National Fire Protection Association. Mr. Rockwell was a Fellow in the LIA and was honored in 1984 with the President's Award for service. |

James F. Smith, Board of Directors
Jim Smith is retired as Director of Standards Activity for RLI, and continues as a member of the RLI Board of Directors. He has over 42 years experience in the laser field. Jim's credits include the past Chairmanships of the ANSI Z136 subcommittee for Laser Safety and Training Programs; the IEC TC 76 Working Group 8 committee for Maintenance and New Standards and the ISO TC 172/SC 9 Working Group 3 committee on Safety. Jim served for over 20 years as a member of the US Technical Advisory Group for IEC TC 76. He has been involved in laser safety training programs for over 30 years, authoring computer based training packages, numerous articles and book chapters. Jim is a Fellow member, as well as a past president of the LIA and a lecturer for many of the RLI laser safety courses. He continues to serve as a consultant to RLI. |

Nancy Suckarieh, Bookkeeper
Nancy joined Rockwell Laser Industries in October of 2002. She has 37 years of experience in the financial industry including work in small companies and large corporations. |
