RLI Laser Accident Database

The laser accident information maintained at Rockwell Laser Industries in the RLI laser accident repository has been gathered from a broad range of sources from 1964 to 2001. The goal of the RLI laser accident database is to support the safe and knowledgeable use of lasers. This is done by identifying the types of laser related accidents that occur. Case specific data is then generated along with statistical summary information on the many factors associated with the incidents. In this way the laser community as a whole can learn about the events and then try to prevent such events from again occurring in their facilities.

Select the desired search criteria from the selections below and click 'Submit'. The search engine will return a summary of any records that match your requirements. Click on the record heading to view the accident detail.
