This three-day intermediate level course covers the major laser safety factors associated with the use of lasers outdoors, especially in the airspace. The course is based on the FAA: 7400.2E, Part 6, Chapter 29: Outdoor Laser Operations as well as the ANSI Z136.6 "Safe Use of Lasers Outdoors" Standard. Also, key laser safety factors will be introduced from the information provided in the FDA's "Laser Product Performance Standard" (CFR Part 1000) enforced by the CDRH. The course will be specific to the FDA's light show variance requirements and the reporting requirements of the FAA.
